Welcome to my website.
My journey into the world of Complementary Therapy began in 2000, training in Reflexology, then taking the natural step into Indian Head Massage, Crystal Therapy and Reiki and more recently, Energy EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).
I strive to assist people to balance their health and help to bring harmony and peace to their lives.
In a busy world with an increasingly fraught pace of life‚ some people can feel stressed and out of control and this can lead to ill health. My therapies provide rest and relaxation in a safe environment and help you to rebalance and reconnect with your inner calm. I can’t change life’s external stresses‚ but I sincerely believe these therapies help people to cope better and to lighten their lives...
For each therapy you will be asked to complete a confidential consultation form containing questions about your general health and lifestyle and to sign a consent form. I am available for one to
one treatment sessions, Reiki training, corporate health events and
public talks.
As with my professional training‚ I am wholly committed to my personal and spiritual development.
Reflexology:
This holistic complementary therapy, employs gentle pressure to the reflexes on hands and feet, encouraging the body to rebalance and return to optimum health.
Reiki: (ray-key). A form of energy healing, coming to the west via Japan.
The practitioner gently places their hands non-intrusively in a sequence of positions covering the whole (fully clothed) body, treating the person rather than specific symptoms.
A full treatment takes 60 to 90 minutes with each position held for several minutes.
Crystal Therapy:
All crystals are believed to have their own healing properties. The aim of crystal therapy is to use crystals to aid a return to well being and crystals are placed around and/or on the body, working on both the physical and energetic fields.
I incorporate crystals into my other therapies where appropriate.
Indian Head Massage:
A very relaxing massage, for the scalp, neck, shoulders and upper back, believed to promote hair growth, provide relief from aches and pains and symptoms of stress.
Indian head massage lends itself particularly well to corporate health days as it can be done in 30 minutes and is a quick, efficient balancer and stress buster.
Animal Communication:
Knowing that people are not the only ones who need support‚ I turned to Animal Communication and in 2010 completed the course and brought my love for our animal friends into my working life.
My intention is to help people have a better relationship with their animals.
